St George and the drive to vegas and back

Saint George Trip - Brigham Young's House

Brigham Young's bedroom, with his hat and cane. I loved the mustard covered walls and the bed spread.
This is the kitchen table.
This was the dinning room, the china was ordered by Brigham Young but died before he could use it.
This is the palor, the fireplace is wood and iron that was painted to look like marble. It was very nice.
This is the outside of the house painted in the original colors it was in Brigham's day.

This is the big tree that was sturck in half by lightening and is now held together by wires.
This is the house they used as a office. Brigham used his house the last 4 winters of his life because of his arthritis.

Fireworks to wedding bells!

This was a picture taken of Dev and I's first date, 4th July 2008. It was great! Lighting of huge fireworks in the middle of a big field! We can both say that literally it was fireworks on the first date, hahaha.

And can you believe it just over a year later, August 22nd, we get to this picture.
And lived happily ever after....

More random pics from summer - my pretties

Murder in the Wild West

Hi cow boys and gals! Yaha, there is a fishy murder a foot in town this Halloween! We were celebrating Devin's birthday and halloween with one of Christy's awesome murder mystery party. This year it was a western theme. I was Minnie Money, an 18 yr old daughter of a rich prospector, this was Montgomery Money (Neil) shown on the far right in the cream suit coat. What an awesome costume by the way! Next to him in the black is my mother Mrs Money (Erin!) she had awesome corset and skirt that flared out. My lover (Devin) Clay Coldwell stands to my right, darn handsomest poker player you ever saw! To my left was Mrs. Banker (Tess) and to her right was Bob the banker (Kyle). As you can see from the pictures below there were loads of great characters about 20 in all. Wild west crew from salon girls, outlaws and bartenders. What a great night finding out who killed who in the wild west, asking question, bribing and generally being underhanded trying to figure out who dunnit!

It was crazy trying to get our costumes made in time. I made my dress out of a old shower curtain from DI and Dev borrowed Loren Bishops cowboy boats and his Dads hat. There is one cool thing about knowing some real cowboy folks! We ate chili and brisket with bread bowls, what more can you ask for. Murder, dress-up and food, no better combo!

we love you and miss you

Here are a few of the pictures that we took at the airport before you guys left, I miss you all a lot. Oh am Emily I still want to get those pictures from you that you took here in full resolution so I can blow them up and put them on my wall. So I can be surrounded by my family in some ways since you can't be here all the time.

Jacque Jacque Attack!

We got the most adorable kitty this last month and after about a 2 weeks of having him we came up with a name that we both liked for him. Jacque, we got it from a Shakespeare play, just took us that long, I wonder how long it will take to name any of our children. He is absolutely nuts and he thinks that my hair is nest, so he suckles and purrs. Its like having a lawn mower on hing going in my ear. I love that he is so cuddly and cute. Also the other cool thing is that he was born the weekend of our wedding, so he is the age of our marriage exactly, amazing!

Love the Anderson Family Inc

Hello Hello!

How are you family and friends?! More than anything we would love to hear your comments on our posts and links to your sites. We want this to be a way to communicate across the world.

We are writing to you from our love nest, its pretty sweet! We needed to show our family what it looks like since we have only been here 2 and a half months and we are loving it! More space than we thought we ever would have starting out. I wanted to also put up our wedding photos, links and videos when we get them all together for your viewing pleasure!

Love Nest BedroomThis is Dev modeling our new king size bed that we got for $125 bucks from Craigs list, basically a website where people sell and buy things from each other for cheap. The bed spread is one that we got for our wedding, nice and brown, but . And the sheets are yummy, a warm flannel fabric, we both love it! However be warned you may loose each other in the night because of its size, good and bad I think :)

Love Nest Bedroom Closet, phew we just about got it all in there, both of our stuff :)

Our new poka-dot shower curtain, we got the thumbs up from a few of our friends here.Picture of cute husband on couch! Just had to throw this one in here :)This is Dev cooking pasta, how lovely he does it :)This is our living room area, it looks smaller than it is, its a good size open room. There is another bedroom at the moment but its being used :) So I wasn't able to take pictures but know that it is sweet!
There is the brief tour of our Springville home, we love it much. Come visit us soon!
